I am new to Android. My understanding is that there is an existing API that
can be used for facial recognition. Part of this is that - a set of image
captures (or termination of image captures) is triggered by the person
changing from being 'plain-faced' to 'smiling-face'. It is also my
understanding that this API or feature is now deprecated. Is that true,
does it have some known end-of-life?
