*Role  *                     :               Windows Server Engineer(10+
years)

*Location   *            :               Pleasanton, CA

*Interview*            :               Phone and Skype (locals will be

*Duration   *           :               6+months

*Description: *



This position will act as a primary technical principal and is responsible
for delivery of STIG standard hardened images for Microsoft Windows 2008R2,
2012 and 2016 servers. Primary job responsibility will be the hardening of
existing systems via Ansible to STIG standards and constructing a STIG
compliant Windows Server 2016.  Candidates for this position must be able
to, from day 1, roll up their sleeves and hit the ground running, and bring
their experience to the team to make the project deployments much smoother.



 *Technical Knowledge and Skills:*

•             10+ years related system engineering/Infrastructure and
customer support experience.

•             Extensive experience related to security in Microsoft Server
2008R2, 2012 and 2016

•             5+ years’ experience in enterprise corporate infrastructure
design, implementation and troubleshooting,

•             5+ years with both Microsoft Server 2008R2, 2012 and 2016.

•             5+ years’ experience with VMWare 5.x and 6.x

•             5+ years’ experience with Active Directory

•             2+ years’ experience Ansible Configuration Management

•             5+ years supporting Datacenter co-located equipment.

•             Extensive experience in support

•             Experience with knowledge of Windows, Linux and Unix
Operating systems

•             Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, networking and
security concepts

•             Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to apply them
during business impacting incidents.

•             Capable of mentor others and lead by example.

•             Project Management, Problem Solving, People Management.

•             Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of
situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of various factors



*Preferred Skills *

•             Good organizational skills and the ability to track and
prioritize several tasks

•             Excellent problem solving skills, along with the ability to
work independently, as well as part of a cross-functional team

•             Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of
situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of various factors

 •            Ability to think and operate as a team player

•             Extremely strong communication skills, both written and verbal

•             Experience managing network service and similar support
providers in a client/vendor relationship

•             Demonstrate strong project leadership and ability to develop
strong working relationships with customer technical personnel.



*Desired Qualifications and Certifications: *

•             Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer
Science, IT, or similar disciplines).

•             Microsoft Server Security Certification
