Worth. *Travel 2 times a month (2 day trips).* Network side routing is most important, *BGP.Cisco 6509-2* and they also have the brand new *Nexus equipment.* The equipment is installed, but they have yet to take advantage of it. They have managed *firewalls, Palo Alto.* T1's at all locations. Need to understand. They will have fiber into 8 locations. Degree is not required. Engineering level experience. They have administrators, architects and engineers (good at solving problems). They do not need an architect level candidate, but they do need an engineer level. Think on their own and solves problems. Someone that can improve. Less than 40 IT staff, 1100 users. Challenge is the number of locations. 5 managers and 4 doers. *Router/switches *with a *couple years of VOIP.* *Manage San* as well as *Exchange. * *1 person is on call every 5 weeks. * It is an opportunity to learn Palo Alto. If they have firewall experience, then that will work. Very family oriented place. Flexible. They can work from home with a sick child. Everything is documented. They wear several hats. This person may have to fix a work station, the next minute the Call Manager. *Call Manager 8.5* and *Unity *is the voicemail. They have a couple of locations with attendant console. *Work is 25% to 33% VoIP, 1/3 Cisco routers/switches and 1/3 firewalls. * *Call Manager is way more important that Palo Alto.
