*Lead AEM Developer* *Location: DC* *Duration: 6 months* *SUMMARY OF DUTIES:* The Lead Systems Developer – AEM is responsible for the design and development of Adobe Enterprise Manager (AEM) and related solutions. The resource will work on major projects providing subject matter expertise and technical direction with a specific focus on AEM development. The resource is responsible for creating and maintaining AEM codebase for the enterprise. The Lead Systems Developer works closely with customers, business analysts and IT team members to understand the business requirements and translate them to design for quality technical solutions. The Lead Systems Developer will collaborate across development teams to establish naming conventions and standards for AEM Development. The Lead Systems Developer position entails monitoring, administration, oversight and incremental Enhancement of Amtrak’s transportation platform and applications. The resource will perform tasks that include responding to change and trouble tickets, monitoring the platform for failures, exceptions and threshold issues, tuning and optimizing applications performance, testing applications for product upgrades and patches, communicating with customers and upper management about platform and/or ticket status, and working on occasional minor enhancements as remaining work capacity allows. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and are in compliance with the organization’s architectural standards. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* • Develops and implements web content management solution using AEM. • Designs and builds components, templates, widgets, dialogs and workflows using Adobe AEM. • Develops custom OSGI bundles, services, and servlets in AEM. • Responsible for integrating AEM with external APIs. • Diagnoses and solves technical problems related to AEM. • Responsible for creating technical design documentations. • Defines, develops or modifies software application modules or enterprise wide software systems using disciplined development processes. • Evaluates existing applications, platform and provides recommendations for system enhancements by conducting gap analysis, identifying feasible alternative solutions, and assisting in the scope of modifications. • Provides ongoing maintenance of applications. • Provides technical leadership coaching and mentoring to team members. Provides technical guidance or system process expertise. *WORK EXPERIENCE:* • Typically requires demonstrated years of programming and/or systems analysis experience. • Excellent understanding of Adobe Marketing Cloud Services. • Experience working with CMS platforms. • Demonstrated years of experience building with Adobe Experience Manager/CQ5. • Strong technical expertise and experience with Adobe AEM product suite, including AEM, CRX, Target, and DAM. • Has successfully architected and implemented AEM solutions to the marketing, work flows, applications and web site needs. • Experience and Strong technical expertise in Apache Sling, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, Apache and App server logs, OSGi, RESTful web services, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS, CSS3, JSP, XPath and related technologies. • Experience in developing applications, templates, and components for the Adobe AEM product (WCM, DAM, CRX). • Strong expertise in HTTP/S, SOAP, JSON, DHTML, JavaScript, PL/SQL, AD, LDAP, XML, SAML, TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls, network diagnostic tools, RHEL. • Have implemented development methodologies around AEM solutions. • Have performed analysis, designed, coded, documented, tested complex solutions in AEM. • Have designed and developed AEM applications that integrate with Hybris, SalesForce, E-Commerce and Web Services platform. • Have integrated websites with web analytics tools. • Experience with creating and configuring Asset Share and Asset Editor pages. • Excellent working knowledge of Working knowledge of the Experience Server (CRX), including the Content Explorer, Sling, OSGi. • Excellent knowledge and understanding of developing applications for cross-platform, cross-device, and cross-bowser. • Strong technical expertise in scripting, Jenkins, automations, Bash, Perl. • Resolve complex technical problem, solved performance problems, documented incident resolutions, lead high severity incident and Root cause analysis. • Has supported mission critical ecommerce websites.
