Will look at candidates in the Midwest only –* *Must be located in the Central time Zone.* *We are 1 of 3 vendors manager works with* *Visa - No H1B* *Rate – Market – based on US experience and skills* *100% technical interview – no resumes over 6 pages* I will do an MS Teams Video call with candidate *Manager Notes/Required –* Personality is key – must be outgoing, friendly and professional - *We need someone who is a “go getter” and hungry to learn new skills – someone proactive and speaks up* 3-5 years with Node.js - all new development - building a brand-new integration service. The bulk of the day will be spent in NodeJS – heavy front end. React is required They also use a little Java but its not required – *this is NOT a Java Dev role, Java is just a plus* AWS/Lambdas required - Working with Identity matching, someone who has worked with Big Data Sets is a plus Postgres, SQL, Oracle Optionally, some TypeScript experience would be useful, but not required TDD is important and their will be interview questions around this, unit testing DevOps, CI/CD tools (Terraform, Ansible, Docker/Kubernetes, etc.) is a plus Must enjoy working with a team! Come up with solutions and not be argumentative Current dev team is big on meeting deliverables and doing it the right way Independently creates API-based applications from concept to finished product with a cloud-first emphasis using strong knowledge of general programming languages, frameworks and deployment methodologies. Implements complicated or ambiguous technical problems. Uses strong communication skills to articulate problems and solutions to both product stakeholders and the development team. Works in a collaborative environment to build and deploy effective and efficient applications with well-tested code. *Responsibilities* Designs, develops, tests, deploys and supports API-based systems focusing on industry best practices with a cloud-first emphasis. Implements timely decisions on complicated technical problems. Manages individual tasks and timelines with an ability to work without direct supervision. Seeks continuous quality improvements for supported systems. Mentors and coaches teammates.
