You are right Dianne in way, Also, I believe the OEMs can use such an
architecture, right? It's actually the OEM that is going to provide
update and they make sure it works with the update.

We have been debating this question, what one should do if one has to
get best fps on a given hardware, will the JAVA SDK guarantee that?
or  should I use Surfaceflinger in native code?
