I was inclined to thinking most of the android phones would come with relatively the same accelormeter chip. >From what i've read the blackberries and iphone either have a better chip or better logic has been used to smooth out the signal.
I guess for the most accurate reading I would need to set it to the 2G mode, for a game i doubt someone will need to really whip the phone around at 8Gs. I just hope theres an API call to set the resolution to 2g or 4g mode.
