I found the problem for the backinglist, you have encountered an issue that is quite critical for me to solve, it is http://team.andromda.org:8080/jira/browse/BPM-21

When you have the same name for different parameters sometimes the cartridge can be confused and cannot decide which on to take (long explanation..too long to explain) anyway.. to solve it it renamed the parameter in the controller method and it worked

I will update and fix this soon (you should ‘watch’ the issue to get updates on the progress)

Hi,

I had downloaded the nightly version again, and created a new case test, I can not get the display tag working with the decorator... so I am sending you the model
Also this model has a select combobox with a String parameter on a <<FrontEndEvent>>. The controller is supossed to load the selected value within the method,  but I don`t know why a backing list is not being generated for this element

Thank you very much for your time!

Carlos

Well it works on my machine … send me your model so I can check it

About the war bundle, … andromda is andromda .. and has no control on what you do with the generated files, so make sure you copy those files into the war by opening the fileset filter to include more extensions

Hello Carlos,

The tagged value should be on the parameter,.. if the profile only has
one for the transition then it is a bug that must be fixed, I uploaded
the most recent binary last night, did you try that one ?

.. I did download the src distribution and compiled it....

For the time being, create your own tagged value with that name and
assign it to the parameter, that will fix it

I had tried and still does not work, it also do not generate decorator, I am pretty sure that the tagged value is within a parameter in the  <<FrontEndEvent>> out transition, and the tagged value @andromda.struts.action.tablelink is set as "mydata.name"

..on the other hand, the calendar folder within the layout is not being copied withtin the .war, so the calendar does not show the images..

any ideas?
Carlos

I will double check the tagged value in the profile

Subject: [Andromda-user] dynamic link tests

Hi,

I am trying to display dynamic links on a displaytag.
I had created a new proyect with the last nightly build.
Within the default xmi file, I had done the following steps:

1 I had created a incoming parameter with the name "mydata".
2 inside the parameter tagged value I had add colum names to the
@andromda.struts.view.table.columns . like "name,name1"
3 I had created a <<FrontEndEvent>> going out from the

<<FrontEndView>>

that receives the action with the parameter
4 I had set the <<FrontEndEvent>> transition
@andromda.struts.action.tablelink tagged value property to

"mydata.name"

everything complies ok, but the parameter is still there as text

fields

and the Decorator class is not generated.
I had observed that the documentation talks about adding the
@andromda.struts.action.tablelink to the parameter, but within the
profile, the tagged value only appears on the transitions.

any idea?

Thanks
Carlos
