okay, so per stable distribution release we'ld promote the cartridges and align 
them to the same version (for example: 3.0.4 --> 3.1), that way cartridge 
versions may jump and only their minor releases would be independent from any 
core version



Lofi, you expressed your desire to have cartridges released more frequently, in 
that case I think it wouldn't make much sense to release them together with the 
core (I'm only talking about minor cartridge releases of course), should be 
upload them to sourceforge, or just our own remote maven repository ?



ps: that reminds me, shouldn't we have our 3.0 binaries on ibiblio.org 
(considering they are a stable major release) ?
