I am trying to get Linux on my HP Ipaq 5555. I already have Bootblaster
installed and have no problem transfer any image to the Ipaq. Have used
set linuxargs "root=mtd1 rootfstype=jffs2 console=ttyS00,115200"
then boot or even added rootdelay=20 then boot. Have tried 3900 and 5000 images
. Also tried
set linuxargs "root=/dev/mtdblock1 rootfstype=jffs2 console=ttyS00,115200"
then boot but no go. I have Linux running on my 3900 and love it. But I always
get a error something like this
mmc): Host does not support reading read-only switch. Assuming write-enable.
on my Ipaq 5555 if it gets that far . :-) If I take out the sd card it stops
the error but now is stuck at
Bluetooth: RFCOMM ver 1.8?
I can get Familiar with Opie or Gpe installed and booted would like to try
Angstrom working on it.
