Do you mean by »explaining BitBake« what the syntax of BitBake recipes is? I suggest to use the OpenEmbedded user manual [1]. Unfortunately documentation is not complete and often not up to date and you will have to additionally rely on existing recipes, the source, the Web and the help on the lists.
