The Apache Kudu team is happy to announce the release of Apache Kudu 1.1.0!
Kudu is an open source storage engine for structured data which supports low-latency random access together with efficient analytical access patterns. It is designed within the context of the Apache Hadoop ecosystem and supports many integrations with other data analytics projects both inside and outside of the Apache Software Foundation. The 1.1 release includes several new features, including a dramatically improved Python client, support for "IN-list" predicates, and improved debuggability of client timeouts. In addition, the release improves performance significantly for some write workloads, improves server start-up time, and improves Raft leader stability when servers host a large number of tablets.
