http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=16115 http://ant.apache.org has 28 errors preventing it from being valid html as per w3c.org ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-01-17 09:29 ------- These files contain the first steps toward validation as xhtml11. Suggestions: 1) most of the site-specifc stuff is one big blurb with many times repeating table cell features that do not validate correctly - how about adding some more layers of abstraction that group this - e.g. a menuTab macro or a menuItem macro or a boxWithBottomRoundedCorners macro etc.? 2) If somebody really wants to remain compatible with html4 or earlier, a) a html4func.vm needs to written in parallel to the xhtml11func.vm. b) Also, then it would be useful if some variable such as $htmlversion could be configured in the build.xml/docs.xml and could be used in the .vsl and .vm files. What do you think? The effort is currently paused because I realized that I cannot use the VTL inside the xml's to support my global "content constants" and multilinguality as described in http://issues.cocoondev.org/jira/secure/ViewIssue.jspa?key=FOR-18 . Any ideas how to do this with anankia are highly appreciated! -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
