When the demand for apples in the United States is greater than the supply available in the United States, then I have no problem with imports from China or elsewhere......as long as we have a knowledge of how the fruit is grown and how pest control is administered. But I cannot see importing from China if we have an ample supply......we should support our own growers before supporting those from around the world.
