Hi All,
Here's my question: When I click on "my computer", the system
hangs. It's the same if I go to "all files" and click on "\\", so the
problem seems to be that arachne won't give me a listing of all my
drives. However, I can access any drive manually by typing in a
filespec in the top line. My sustem is complex, with two hard drives, a
zip, two floppys, and two cd's. I've logical drives up to M:, so maybe
I'm asking too much of arachne here. I'm running under 4dos, which
works OK once you eliminate all the "[nnn]" 's from mime.cfg (thanks for
that tip!). When I clean boot and run under command.com, the above
problem is still there, but I get a "divide by zero" msg. just before
the crash. I've narowed the problem down to the "<A HREF="file:@*.*>"
line in "home.htm". When I boot earlier versons of DOS the problem
disapears, but I'd like to be able to run Arachne under 'doze 95.
Clarence dosen't seem to have the answer, so I'm running this passed the
whole mob of you.
