RUSA STARS is able to offer a $1,250 travel award to help an individual
newly employed in interlibrary loan, electronic reserves, or resource
sharing attend the 2015 ALA Annual conference in San Francisco, CA, thanks
to the generosity of Atlas Systems. You'll have a chance to meet fellow
STARS members at our ALA programs and meetings, get helpful tips to make
your work easier, and share your ideas about the future of resource
sharing. STARS will pair you with an experienced mentor to help you
navigate the conference.



Any library practitioners who has been working in the field of resource
sharing for less than two years and who has daily, hands-on experience in
the areas of ILL borrowing or lending, document delivery, electronic
reserves, or material delivery. You do not need to have a library degree or
be a member of ALA to apply. It's OK if you have previous experience in
other aspects of librarianship; if you're new to resource sharing then you
are eligible to apply for this award. Nominees do not need to attend the
ALA Midwinter Meeting to be considered for this award.
