Or perhaps it has to do with the nature of the threat. One would imagine that if murderers thought they had a high probability of being caught, they'd not do the crime. However, an armed victim is a different story, since the threat is so immediate--it's not that easy to kill a person and the victim will probably have a good chance to draw and fire a gun. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
