Hi Daniel

You could go to Start menu... Run and type in regedit then browse the
registry to see if the key exists??

Hi Daniel

You could try an OLE action using the Windows Script Host Shell Object
to do a RegRead on the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App
Paths\excel.exe
