Dear Mukulda:
I don't know what Slave Trade you are reffering to. You must be living on the Mars.
On this Earth, we call this the Human Civilization. It was the same through ages.
Under the British Raj, the Nagas used to trade for Salt. And that was how the first Naga war started and which is still going on. Today we are trading for H1 Visa.
Whichever way you look at it, on this Earth, I know of only two systems.
One is a the Capitalist system to which everybody is falling into now a days as if it is a Black Hole.
The other is the  Communist or the Socialist system which is dying  or changing its core to save face and survive with a new name.  They are also trading for H1 Visa.
Japan is already beating America on their own game. Now Communist China is trying to do the same on a mega scale.

Anyhow, on this Earth, it does not matter actually which system you follow because both are the same in the end.
Probably you have heard the joke:
Guy asked what was the difference between Capitalist and the Communist system.
The other guy said,
O , these are two 180 degrees completely opposite systems.
What do you mean?.
Well, you see, in our Capitalist system Man exploits Man to earn a buck.
But you see in the Communist system they do just the opposite.

Jokes apart, I am wondering, which system you are dreaming for future Assam.
Just remember, Assam is on this Earth.

Subject: [Assam] Nuke Refuelling Technology to India

Another attempt to keep the Slave trade alive?

NEW DELHI, Nov 22 Asia Pulse - The United States on Monday asked India to evolve a "credible nuclear plan" and make a distinction between military and civilian nuclear policies to facilitate exchange of atomic energy technologies between the two countries.

"India needs to have a credible nuclear plan. I think India will do it. It has to separate civilian from military use of nuclear energy," US Senator George Allen said at a meeting organised by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce.

He said it would not be an easy task (exchanging technology), as the Congress which has both Republicans and Democrats as members would "scrutinise" the matter minutely before approving the nuclear deal signed during Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's visit to Washington in July this year.

Allen, however, said he was hopeful that the Congress would acknowledge the relationship between the two countries.

"India is a friend, a partner and an ally of the US and we have to provide with the nuclear energy expertise to strengthen its (India) energy base. I hope the Congress will appreciate this fact when the issue is placed before it, may be some time next year," he said.

On the issue of issuing H1B visas, the Senator said he was in favour of increasing the number and expressed happiness that majority of these technical worker visa holders were Indians.
