This is exact same patch that Digium support tried before sending me new fxo modules. That wctdm.c patch did not help in my case.
Interesting, thanks Andrei. I have run for a month so far, without any trouble since including this. The issues I have seen, have occured at 2 week to 2 month intervals.
The system has not had much use for the last 3 weeks, so I'll need to wait a few months to be sure.
