I have put into each phone settings (sip.conf and zapata.conf) in my office:
callgroup=1 pickupgroup=1
I cannot pickup any calls from another phone!! What do I miss here?
Your SIP phone is eating the *8. You need to look at your SIP phone docs, not Asterisk
