I guess there is nothing to do then... Thanks very much! -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joshua Colp Sent: Tuesday, June 07, 2005 10:54 PM To: 'Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion' Subject: RE: [Asterisk-Users] Answer Delay
Internally asterisk keeps track of when calls are answered and such, chan_zap has nothing to do with it... It just knows it's answered, and it has to be answered for audio frames to be sent between each side. Therefore you'll either have to modify the core of asterisk, or modify the CDR stuff to compensate with adding 30 seconds to the answered time. Instantly changing CDR records isn't exactly what Asterisk was made to do easily. - Joshua Colp. I've tried to modify the source code in chan_zap.c with no luck. Anyone have an idea what I should modify/add to this file to make it work? Thanks -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joshua Colp Sent: Tuesday, June 07, 2005 10:02 PM To: 'Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion' Subject: RE: [Asterisk-Users] Answer Delay Hellllllo, The problem with analog lines is that there is no reliable way to determine whether the line was actually answered or not, thus without the highly experimental callprogress option your FXO ports will always show up as being answered immediately when they are used. As for changing the time, there's no real way to do this... if you want to REALLY make it happen modify the source code... - Joshua Colp. Maybe this time there is somebody that can help me out. I have a server with Digium Card with FXO ports. I would like to add a fixed 30 seconds delay before it shows the calls as answered. If I call out and somebody picks up the phone it should not show the call as answered for 30 seconds. Any tip will be greatly appreciated.
