Hi,

Recently, I moved all my .bib file in a standard place of the LaTeX
hierarchy, namely my TEXMFLOCAL directory:

TEXMFLOCAL/bibtex/bib/subdirectories/*.bib

and now I specify, for example:

\bibliography{avionique,partitionnement,TR}

(these files being in the subdirectories of TEXMFLOCAL/bibtex/bib).

bibtex works fine, and during a while reftex worked fine too. But, for a
reason I can't understand, reftex suddently doesn't work anymore and I
get the message:

"No valid bibliography in this document, and no default available"

I work under Linux, with texlive and the latest version of AUCTeX, and I
tried several solutions:

- define BIBINPUTS to TEXMFLOCAL/bibtex/bib or TEXMFLOCAL/bibtex/bib/*
- define external file finders in order to have kpsewhich defined.

Nothing works but perhaps I don't do exactly the right thing.

Any idea ?

Thanks in advance for your help !

Regards/
