I've a document which in the last lines has Local Variables, the second one is TeX-source-correlate-mode: t, however, when I open the file and compile it in a new Emacs session the synctex file is not generated, and in the Command->TeXing Options->Correlate I/O it is cleared.
So I have to manually enable this feature every time I open the file. I'm running GNU Emacs 29.1 (build 2, x86_64-w64-mingw32) of 2023-08-02 and AUCTeX version 13.2.3 (from 2023-12-07). Is there something I doing incorrectly? TIA -- Cesar Rabak
