The command,
$ git clone -q --reference /src/linux-2.6/linux-2.6.git
ssh://localhost/proj/aufs/aufs2-2.6.git

succeeded.
Does it prove that my local tree is fine?

I have several development or personal branches in my tree, and they
should not be published. So I don't think it a good idea to send you
whole .git/ in my local tree.

I've tried
$ git clone -q --reference /src/linux-2.6/linux-2.6.git
http://git.c3sl.ufpr.br/pub/scm/aufs/aufs2-2.6.git

now, but it failed again (same error).
If I run 'git push' now, will the problem be solved?
