I want you to test one more thing. - specify 'debug' to the kernel command line and boot. - mount aufs - echo 1 > /sys/module/aufs/parameters/debug - cat /sys/module/aufs/parameters/debug it has to be 1 - run nautilus it will crash again but aufs left debug messages in your syslog. please send me the log. the priority.facility of the aufs debug message is kern.debug.
