I will try autofs4 later by myself.
How did you set it up? I need to know about it, particulary the order of
- mounting aufs
- telling autofs that /net is the mount point.

If the AppArmor patch is applied to your kernel source, it is a known
problem. Please refer to the posts to aufs-users ML and check whether
the problem is same or not.
