in my chrooted env, /tmp/jailcache.ro.var is ext3 and not aufs.
I don't understand your question. The script journal-commit calls the
command mount only if the readed line from /proc/mounts contains the
FSTYPE ext3. The file system ext3 knows the option commit. Sure, AUFS
doesn't know this option.
That is the reason why I am convinced, that the script doesn't
trigger
the kernel message. It triggers the message indirect because it
mounts
the readonly branch /tmp/jailcache.ro.var but this branch has the
FSTYPE ext3. The script doesn't know that /tmp/jailcache.ro.var is a
part of an AUFS union.
PS: The contents of the file /proc/mounts is in both environments the
same.
