While I don't understand what you want to say, if you want to say aufs doesn't handle nfs branch correctly, then it is a known bug. And I will fix it when I have time. (a mail in last month) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: aufs3 GIT release Date: Mon, 25 Jun 2012 17:08:48 +0900 ::: Thomas Lange reported that aufs doesn't work with NFSv4 branch. And I find the bug in aufs which is born in aufs3.2 (probably). I will try fixing it in a week or two. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (a mail in this month) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: aufs3 status (not GIT release) Date: Mon, 02 Jul 2012 11:54:35 +0900 :: In these days, I don't have enough time for working on aufs. Sot the problem about NFSv4 branch in aufs3.2 (and later) is not fixed yet. But I found that NFS people changed their approach in linux-3.5-rcN, and aufs becomes to be able to work with NFSv4 branch again in most cases (not all, paricularly the loopback mount on nfs). I am not sure when I can work on aufs again. It may take a month or two. But I certainly shall do it again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- J. R.
