Then, you should use '-i' option to your mount(8), to stop mount.aufs.
The purpose of mount.aufs is,
- update /etc/mtab
- execute auplink at remount time in order to make pseudo-link as real
  hard-link.

It seems that you don't need to exec mount.aufs.
