To some extent, there are two separate threads here. This post addresses one aspect only and that is finish rules which encourage high-speed low-level finishes, how ever much fun they are.

Who knows the stats… In the last two years, how many high-speed low-level finishes and how many accidents and fatalities have we had locally? My guess is something in the region of: 1000 landings 2 accidents 1 fatality.
