it isn't automounter's responsibility to filter options (how does it know what is 
unknown?)  there's a version of mount which ignores unknown options (2.8?  I forget 
exactly).

you can also filter out specific options (like noquota) with the rc.autofs file (it 
already parses the options a little bit).
