Hi!

I'm having some problems with autofs whereby automounted home
directories (served by a Solaris 2.6 machine) get constant 'nfs server
moray not responding' errors. When mounted directly via /etc/fstab they
appear to work fine.

Here's the setup:

Various linux x86 boxes (some on ethernet 10BaseT, some on ATM 155), all
running glibc 2.0.7, autofs 3.1.3 and kernel 2.2.6/2.2.7 are mounting
various directories from two Solaris servers - moray and anawara.
Everything works fine from anawara, but everything on moray gets this
'nfs server not responding' error. A Solaris NFS client has no such
difficulty.

When I mount by hand, the problems go away.

The mount options are 'udp,nfsvers=2,noac,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,nolock'
(I'm not sure about the nolock - I don't think I actually need it).

Any ideas?

I'm using mount 2.9g.
