There's even one committer from Microsoft aboard, Wes Witt. ;-) When they tried to get a foot into the Fruit-Pi community by porting Windows and tools to it, they were also interested in getting AVRDUDE to compile under their toolchain. It got quite silent around that topic though lately. I guess they weren't all that successful with the entire project, not regarding AVRDUDE but the overall Fruit-Pi community.
