Actually, it seems that I have found a way to create model in Blender
and export it correctly (with a simple manual correction in the
collada file).

It seems that the "up" axis in Away3D is Y axis. But normally I create
model in Blender using the front view (num pad 1 in Blender), which
shows Z as the up axis. So I experiment with using the top view (num
pad 7) that shows Y as the up axis, and do all my modeling and
animations in that view. Note that bones created in Blender by default
is using Z-axis as up (the top tip is pointing at Z), so if you are
using Y-axis you will need to rotate your bone. Then export the model.
There is one small change in the .dae xml file, which is to set the "Z-
Up" to "Y-Up" near the top of the file. After that, animations in
Away3D seem to match exactly what I see in Blender. Of course, my
simple experiment is just a simply cube with one bone, and animation
is about rotating that bone around x/y/z axis only, haven't tried real
complex model yet, that's the next thing I will do. I hope that it
will work for more complex models.
