Hi,

Babel has been used on top of mosh to provide to fall back mode:

Reading this Hackaday article about Mosh:

"The other issue has been getting a decent iOS client with mosh
support. Mosh uses an algorithm called OCB, which is patented, but the
author has granted use to GPL licensed projects, which is great if
you’re into GPL, but not so great for a lot of iOS app developers.
Although in looking into this again, I just discovered blink.sh, which
has mosh support, so maybe I’ll give that a spin."

Are you aware of this patent?

Best,

"In July 2005, after several failed attempts to legalise software
patents in Europe, the patent establishment changed its strategy.
Instead of explicitly seeking to sanction the patentability of
software, they are now seeking to create a central European patent
court, which would establish and enforce patentability rules in their
favor, without any possibility of correction by competing courts or
democratically elected legislators."
