I just installed BackupPC 3.0 on a new server. I tend to manage my BackupPC servers over a text-based ssh session, load the elinks browser on the server, and point it at http://localhost/backuppc. Anyway, it worked fine on version 2.1.2, but on version 3.0 the link for "Start Full Backup" does not work -- the link shows as "harmless button".
I googled: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=elinks+%22harmless+button%22&btnG=Google+Search I can't say that I understood everything I read, but I got the impression that it's an issue with the coding of the page, and not an issue with elinks.
