OK, no, VSS is incorrelated.
Seems that the 'default' 'verify' backup option is too tight for an USB
mounted disk...
In Windows/NTFS there's some sort of 'inode' concept? Or there's something
that change (and is tracked by default 'verify='option) if i unplug/plug the
disk, or i reboot the PC?
Currently my fileset is:
FileSet {
Name = SystemPlusIBREEG2Ril
Enable VSS = yes
Include {
Options {
Signature = MD5
Ignore Case = yes
}
File = "C:/System98"
File = "D:/System98 Sicurezza"
File = "D:/System98 SQL Database"
File = "Z:/Backup Giornaliero"
File = "Z:/System98 Local"
File = "Z:/System98 Referti"
File = "Z:/System98 Multistorage"
}
}
If i try for Z: something like:
Include {
Options {
Signature = MD5
Ignore Case = yes
accurate = sm5
}
File = "Z:/Backup Giornaliero"
File = "Z:/System98 Local"
File = "Z:/System98 Referti"
File = "Z:/System98 Multistorage"
}
(and enable Accurate mode, of course) could work?
I'm googling with various combination of 'bacula' 'ntfs' 'removable disk'
and so on, but i found only how to make a backup ON a removable disk, not
FROM a removable disk! ;-)
Thanks.
