Reviews

Howierd
Discovered on Prime TV series Cosmic Love, a dating series. Astrology based.
Kind of interesting. Fancy set. Worth the full price (of already having a
subscription)

Sandra:
New 4K TV – huge change. Enjoying rewatching things. The Expanse and The Boys.
Really enjoying. Dune the Movie.
Craig: Still have an old set. Once you upgrade, you can never go back.

Saturday went to Pleasanton Highland Games. They’re back. Crowd was good sized,
not packed. Full price.

Lisa
Went to PEERS on Saturday. Swing was part of the program. The band converted
some songs to waltz time. Great deal of fun. Her ability to dance is still
there (after surgery) Next one is a Halloween one in October. peersdance.org
<http://peersdance.org/>
Howierd: Theory was all the Souza marches were waltzes.

Ken:
(Should have reviewed this last week) Saw Palo Alto Players School of Rock
based on the Jack Black film with new songs by Andrew Lloyd-Webber. The kids in
the band in the story played their own instruments. Show was a-maze-ing. The
crowd felt like a rock concert more than a stage show. Worth paying for seven
tickets. Learned at the talk-back session that the originator of the role on
Broadway is from San Jose (he’s also Beetlejuice on Broadway). This coming
weekend is the final one. paplayers.org <http://paplayers.org/>

Rumor of the Week:

PA Players next musical will be the school of roll

Adjourned at: 20:41
