Hi Robert, As I mention in my previous e-mail (or think I did), removing the elc files do help. Recompiling them with the released version of Emacs 21.1 also helps. The problem seems to be caused by byte-compiling them with Emacs 21.1.90. I cannot say whether this also happens with Emacs 21.1.80, but probably.
