For additional parking, there is the Porter Square shopping center if you
actually head down Beacon Street (where it branches from Mass Ave).

I suggest taking the T to Porter Sq. or parking on Mass Ave on a meter. If
there's none available, there's a parking lot behind City Sport which is
reasonable.
