Thanks for your suggestion. In fact it is already in a reusable format. The 
keyboard layouts are in a js file whereas the converters are in another one, 
etc. The main page just hooks the text box with keydown and keyup functions and 
provides interface functionalities. Many websites are using it. For example: 
http://www.thebdnews.com/ . BDNews24.com is planning to use it as well.

Whatever you end up with, it would be very helpful if you try to
separate reusable parts of it in a javascript library of some sort. I
have thought about creating and maintaining something like it on
behalf of Ankur, but never got around to it. It has many possible use
cases; Anubadok is one, another obvious one is a search box in various
contexts (e.g. the archive, or wikipedia).
