All you have to do is open Applications, highlight the application you want to
move and select “Move to Folder”, press trackpad, select “Home” and it will
move the app to the last row, bottom, right side.

I don’t think this can be done with apps you don’t develop. I believe
developers can use X-Rim-Push-Ribbon-Position to set this, but its not
guaranteed either.

I've never run across a way to specify nor seen the rules that determine the
placement - we've seen the Enterprise IM client show up in the Instant
Messaging folder, Applications, Downloads - even (rarely) the home screen,
possibly depending on the presence or absence of the previously mentioned
folders, OS version and I don't know what all.

If you find a way, I'd like to see how to do it.

Subject: [Bes-admins] Pushing Applications from BES

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know if there is a way to push an application to a certain location
on a BB? I recently pushed the BB Enterprise messaging client and the IM blue
bubble showed up in the applications folder. Is there a way to have it show up
on the main screen so users don’t have to hunt for it?

thanks
