Sigh... As I poked around I was astounded at what did work. Except for lab errors (resulting from uninstalled addins) I found little that didn't work. I was getting my hopes up that when a jal workaround was devised anything would be possible. The bullet statement worked as advertised, but seemed to hint at something more: a command line interface?, an event handler?
Perhaps a Hiosnotavailable to keep us from lusting after documented, but unavailable features, and to keep newcomers from thinking they are seeing bugs. I had long ago despaired of seeing J on my iPhone, and am delighted and impressed to see what has been done.
