I recently discovered the "Select publications from .aux file" function, but realized it wasn't suiting my needs since I wanted it to pull out crossrefs for items in the aux file as well. It's easy to modify that function to do that (and I have a patch that does so). Is that the best way to do it? Is it better to add a new command under the "Database" menu that says something like "Select crossrefs for selected publications"? Or is this not a desirable feature at all?
