Okay, I checked in a slightly different fix (same result), and this time I 
compiled it with the 10.5 SDK.  It compiles and runs, so that should be a good 
sign.

Must have been a while since I tried the 10.5 SDK, since it choked on my 
dispatch queue experiments also :/.  Getting availability macros right can be 
tricky.
