I've discovered that the bike is faster than the bus for going downtown. It's also much more convenient. I can ride it to the door of most establishments, park it anywhere, and I never have to wait for it when I'm ready to leave. I can do minor grocery runs on my bike. But the big run for the sack of dog food and canned goods still requires a car. For the record, I'm 55 and Eric is 57.
