2006 APEC conference focuses on policies, strategies
2006/7/24 The China Post staff The biotechnology industry is one of the most innovative sectors in Taiwan. Many foresee biotechnology as the leading industry of the new century. Its potentially huge market readily attracts attention from various investment sectors. The purpose of the 2006 APEC Biotechnology Conference is to provide a forum for sharing information and experience among government officers, entrepreneurs and research scientists involved in policy making and technology research and development in the field of biotechnology. The conference will be held today at the Grand Ballroom I on the third floor of Grand Hyatt Taipei. This year, the APEC Biotechnology Conference will be held in conjunction with BioTaiwan 2006, one of the largest annual biotechnology events in the region.
