Over a period of 4 morning hours of light NW winds, followed by 1 hour of SW
winds, the great group of observers at the Cranberry Marsh RW identified 181
migrating raptors- in mid-afternoon 2 of us had 2 ROUGH-LEGGEDS go through,
these being the first of its species at CMRW ---  141 Turkey Vultures, 1
immature Bald Eagle, 4 N.Harriers (incl. 1 male), 12 Sharp-shinned, 1
Cooper's, 3 Broad-winged, 13 Red-tailed, 2 ROUGH-LEGGED, 2 Am.Kestrel, 1 UA,
1UB

Nearby birds seen--  Rusty Blackbird, thousands of Blue Jays, 2 Trumpeter
Swans, 3 Great Egrets, 1 Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, 1 Wilson's Snipe,  2 SNOW
GEESE, Pine Siskins, several Warblers--Nashville, Black-throated Green,
Yellow-rumped, Palm.

Exit 401 at Salem Rd., south to Bayly, east through LakeRidge to the first
street--Hall's Rd., south to the second roadside parking lot just north of
the lakefront.
