Chris,

I can't remember exactly, but,

highlight or place your cursor on the said folder, then, alt+enter, or shit+f10 for properties, then security tab, then advanced settings, then owner, and make sure, or add your user name account as the owner.

You've probably already tried this, but just in case, I thought I'd send it along.
